thursday...got a haircut by juan, went to fatso's waaay to late and caught juan, serge, and andrew coming out so chree and me showed them our rap song, then meg and tracie came out so we showed them the song, then we went to the diner and home friday...erin's bday, didn't do much all day until it was time to go to applebees, i gave erin a signed picture of me as a joke,i hope she got the joke but i'm pretty sure she did. i got to see wuss, mikey p, and seannie so it was a good time. saturday.... day 1 of batter up recording, woke up at 8am mike was here by 9....rt 17 was flooded so we couldn't go to the place we were suppsed to go...we pretty much got the whole cd done that day, 5 songs, a little mix up at first but everything worked out in the end and by 11pm all the lead vocals were recorded sunday....day 2 of batter up recording, woke up at 10 mike, meg, and jermery were here by 11, we had breakfest and then went to do the gang vocals, chris and chree got there just in time and we finished those up, then we were off to Middletown NY to play a show. the show went pretty well lauren and her friend came and she brought me food and gatorade. the banner played too so it was a good time to hang out with those guys as it always is. monday....went to AC with Juan around noon got there about 230 and met up with dan who was coming from Baltimore. we spent all day at the Borgota. that place is really nice but i never win there EVER. oh well, next time i go i'm only playing hold 'em cause i'm getting tired of losing at everything else, so might as well lose agaist other people instead of "the house". we hit traffic on the way there cause truck flipped over that was carrying 2x4s which is strange cause tracks shouldn't be on the parkway. all in all a fun day and a good weekend.
hopefully finishing up the room today now that the closet is ripped down and it's all ready for the remodling.

all of my energy has been centered around cleaning my room as of late. this job is no joke and i'll probably not be 100% done for at least 2 to 3 weeks. hopefully i'll take a big chunk out of the job tomorrow by going to ikea and seeing what i want to put in here to replace the things i'm taking out. not too much else going on...hopefully soon michele and myself are going to go to a psychic, we've been talking about this for a while now. the one i went to in Nyack was nuts but i've been hearing stories of other good ones so i want to pick a really good one to go to so i dont have to go again for a while. i'm thinking about renting the Passion tomorrow i haven't seen it yet and when i tell people that they're always like "what?!? you haven't seen it yet?!?" so i'll see it. i want to go to vegas soon...like real soon but since i'm kinda low on money i guess i'll just go to foxwoods or AC. but from now on AC = Borgota.
that about sums it up. i should be going back to school in jan. so i'll have to stop by msu this week and talk to some of the heads of the dept. i might want to study.
keep it posi kids!

today was kinda like a blur, my room is about 45% clean now, i went to see nastri's band with al in hoboken which was cool and justin was there, so then we called kane who then met us up at fatsos. bounch of people at fatsos tonight like BOUNCE who lost what seems like 200lbs but i think was only 50, he looks great, tom and chuck from HS and lauren from MSU. i ended up carrying out a very detailed convo with laruen from across the bar which was pretty funny. fatsos was too much for me to handle tonight cause some crazy stuff went down so i ended up walking out and walking towards my house for about 20mins. Jamie found me but by that time kane, judge and al were out of fatsos and it was off for a little reunion time. we watched one of our old shows and then played some old songs and we're really rusty, good times though.
hopefully there will be more cleaning tomorrow and then a much need trip to ikea but i'll probably need some help, any takers? ha

well a bounch of my friends start school tomorrow but not me of course. i'm 3 months removed from school now, i miss little things about it but of course i dont miss everything i hated. i'm probably going to grad school for the winter semester, so it's not a big deal i'm just going to use the fall semester to introduce myself into the real world and see if i can find anything before i go to grad school. i wish summer was alittle longer so i can keep hanging out with everyone, cause i know once school starts going everyone lives different lives.
in band news i handed in the contracts today so everything is offical and hopefully things will start poping up next week.

i haven't been able to update in a while so here we go... #12 practice was cool another song ready to go...i'm still mad i missed the with honor, champion, terror, SOIA show yesterday. no one to blame but myself for having no idea where to go. but i will also blame the parkway and the rain. we ended up going to batter up practice..which wasn't there..then to applebees then to a party in rutherford so it wasn't a bad night afterall but i'm still pissed. on Friday i went to Tracie's bday party which was a pretty cool time. i made some new friends, that were already old friends, and now friends again. umm i'm not sure what else went on this week, i spent most of it in NY state by Lauren's and then went shopping at the woodbury commons and bought kick ass shorts......batter up played a show in a basement not too long ago, it was a good time but i almost fainted, Al was going to fill in on drums but didn't have to, he came anyway so it was cool. i saw his band like the week before that and they were really good, i can't picture Al being in any other type of band. i mean they played In the Jungle on recorders... 2 weeks ago it was my friend chris' bday like alllll week so that was fun jsut hanging out with him and watching him get crunk haha. oh yeah speaking of getting crunk jeremy was waaaaaaasted the other night wish i could have hung around to see it but i heard it all came up later anyway..... played alot of texas hold em resently, both with people and online that game rules, i'm probably goin to AC tomorrow but i dont think i have the cash to play there.

so yeah the michigan show was alittle strange but it was a good time, lots of fireworks going off that night too and lots of cool people with headlamps. we continued to travel and play shows and then somewhere when on our way from Indiana to Illinois we encountered a tornado! that was pretty damn scary, since i was video taping the whole thing i felt like i was watching real tv when it was happening. we didn't know where 2nd story was and michelle so that made it worse, later we found out they went to a crappy gas station with no basement and then were interviewed by a news crew. we counted about 8 or 9 overturned 18 wheelers so that was nuts. one of the places we went to was Iowa City, Iowa. maybe it's because i'm not from there but i thought this place ruled. it was like 90% college kids cause it seemed we were pretty much on the U of Iowa campus. maybe i'll go there to get my masters or something cause man some of the girls i saw there...wooo...the midwest is another ballgame. i didn't really enjoy St. Louis and Kansas City too much some of the other guys did but i wasn't too up on those cities, we were supposed to get a shipment of shirts sent to my relatives house in st louis but they got the place wrong so it sat in the post office. the Fridays i ate at in Kansas with jus and jase ruled! Tulsa Okl was another place i thought i would never go to but i did see like 3 dead armadillos (sp?) on the way from Kansas to Okl so that was cool i always wanted to see those strange ass animals and i met some cool kids from Dallas at the show in the pinkeye. the next drive was extremly long from tulsa to memphis...who knew that there really isn't too much stuff inbetween major cities. around here we have cool little towns right off the highways, but there...it's alot of farms and then a random city. Memphis was a pretty cool place besides the "ghetto in" we stayed at with the 14 million insects protecting it. we went out the first night in memphis cause we had the night off so us, ion, and end of all went to Beale St. (2nd story was playing in louisville this night) Beale St. was weird, it reminded me of Hoboken and freemont st in vegas rolled into one but run by cowboys. i dont drink so i was getting kinda bored until Alan and Miguel did Karaoke. that was 2 of the funnist things i have seen. alan sounds just like Axle Rose so when he did welcome to the jungle i was crying. then Miguel gets up and i'm like how can he top alan...then..."la bamba" starts playing...let me tell you hearing a French Canadaian do la bamba is something everyone must see. after this i left but i heard alan did a kick ass verison of the humpty dance (southern accent and all) the memphis show the next day was a good one as well as the nashville one the day after. Nashville seemed like a pretty cool place i got to see where the Titans play, and the business district i guess seemed real nice. after that we were back in Ohio and played coloumbus. that place was alot more shady then i thought but the kids around there are awesome. then we were in a suburb or philly called havertown i think? there was a good turnout but we only got to play 2 songs and so did 2nd story which sucked. luckily we were close enough to home to just head back as soon as the show was done so that's what we did. then it came time for Hellfest. there was talk the entire tour that we might be on so come Friday we still didn't know and just figured we weren't. the friday of hellfest was good i got to see the red chord, champion, with honor, ETID, and some others and more importantly got to hang out with everyone. the 2nd day of hellfest came we thought we were going to throw an afterparty this day but we had no PA in our studio so that killed that. the sat of hellfest was awesome...blacklisted, comeback kid, terror, prayer for cleansing, FTLO (even mike kane came out for that one), figure four, and of course AWK!! now somewhere in there i lost my keys which sucks for a number of reasons...1) they're my keys and i drove that day so i cant get into my car, 2) i can't get into my house either 3) they had my tour pass on them 4) they had my Okl. keychain on them and 5) i spent 30% of the night at hellfest asking people and looking for them and i never did find them. something else happened that night which totally sucked and almost runied my weekend. but AWK played and i ran around in a circle for 30mins with wuss and jeremy and forgot about my troubles. for all of killswich i searched hi and low for my keys but i guess they got thrown out or some stupid kid kept them as a reminder of thier weekend. then at 230am i got a call that told me we were on hellfest on sunday..main stage at 110pm. we quickly called the rest of the guys and told them. most of us were excited as hell but it was kinda sad too cause justin was too sick to play that day. i thought it went well and we all had a lot of fun and were suprised too. 2nd story played that day too at 625 and thier set was awesome and they had a ton of kids watching them and going off. the next day we played LI which was pretty cool, and then we played Denville or Cedar Lake NJ which was, what i thought, (besides hellfest) the best show for us...which goes to show you that there is no place like home. that's pretty much the story of tour i left some things out of course like the van dying twice, and bass troubles with some stuff, and guitar troubles with alexs stuff. i also left out our awesome trips to wal-mart and of course waffle house. the best hotel to stay at for under $50 are called "studio 6" and of course i forgot to say how we met up with "with resistance" in Iowa which was crazy!! the dude that dumped 'water' out of his 3rd story window in Mich. and that wierd fight in nashville and the porn shop with the blowup animals. all in all it was an amazing time with amaizng dudes..and chicks...and it will definatly happen again

well the "summer bro-down tour" has come to an end and it was an amazing time. we started on july 10th in sharon PA and it was a good kickoff, the place was packed and everyone there stayed around the whole time. i think our next show was the michigan show, in which the show ran late and therefore shut down, so some awesome kid let us, FASSW and ion play in his trailor home. kids followed us to the house from the first place which was cool cause it was raining like crazy.
oh gotta go i'll finish this story later

i saw the aquabats last sat!! i've been waiting for at least 6 years to see them so it was awesome to see them live and have a good time, got in for free too which is always a plus, they had an amazing live show and i thought sounded great i wish it wasn't the first (maybe last) time i got to see them but i'm happy i did see them. been hanging out with the old crew lately, fun times i'm glad 12 and them all get along it makes for good times. i'm hitting the road in about 2 weeks for the #12 tour, should be a good time. lots of stuff have been going on in the 12 camp as of late, lots of important decisions have to be made soon but regardless the tour will be fun and maybe alittle longer then expected. hopefully we'll be doing some east coast dates after hellfest down to florida and back so taht should be fun. we have a show tomorrow which is good cause it seems all we've been doing is practicing and writing so it'll be good to get out tomorrow and play. i went to the city today to check out for the 2nd day in a row this keyboard that kicks major ass. i'm thinking about getting it after i get back but i also have to get this drum machine/sequencer and i also have to get a mixer so the cost of all this is keeping me from buying it at this very moment. 12 has about 4 shows before we leave and batter up has 1 so i'm going to be pretty burnt out on NJ by the time we leave so being on the road will be refreshing. i really hope to meet alot of people this time around cause i really didnt get the chance to do that last time. i've been getting boxes and boxes of new merch this week, i get all excited when the UPS guy comes now. one more box to go and then we should be all set. the van got fixed this week i think so we should be nice and safe this week, i'm still kinda bummed i have to miss posi #s but touring will be more fun. weird personal stuff going down this week i'm sure everything will work out for the best though.

i'm not really doing anything yet this summer i'm just kinda waiting for tour to come. i can't get a job cause i leave in less then a month so i'm just hanging around not really doing anything productive, just shows and sleeping. i think there was like 1 good BU show and one bad one, and 2 good #12 shows and one bad one.
i went to some graduation parties this weekend and that was fun. i saw people that i haven't seen since i graduated high school at one of them so it was good to catch up and get some #s to keep in touch.
lots of "personal life" stuff going on. some stuff is good and some of it bad. i guess the bad stuff is getting me excited for tour to #1 get out of NJ and #2 meet new people and be in new places. hopefully we stay out longer on tour and go places that we haven't been or where we were last year and no one knew who we were yet. i think a total of like 15 people saw us in the 2 shows we had in NC last year but there was a monsoon going on.
i have to buy alot of electronics in the next week or so, keyboards, camaras and cd players so i'm going to be really broke by the time i leave.
#12 has some shows coming up the 24th in Jackson NJ the 25th at Bloomfield Ave. and the 27th in NYC at the knitting factory, hopefully these shows go well to pump us up for tour
batter up is playing a 4th of July BBQ with the dudes from Charge so that's going to be a fun time.
i think we leave the 9th for tour or something so from today that's only...25 or so days away.
thats all for now i'll write more when i feel like it i guess

i took a few weeks off from typing in this thing casue everytime i tried i would get sidetracked. tons of stuff going on. i took my last final EVER as an undergrad at MSU. that's pretty nuts and it hasn't really sunk in yet. and since i'm graduating that brings up the fact that i need a new suit. nothing says TALL FREAK more then shopping at the big and tall. i had to go there to look at suits cause i'm a tall lanky bastard. they didnt have any, the dude was like "we're more for fat people". so i got this DKNY suit that had to get like majorly altered. i went to senior bash a few weeks back and had a pretty good time, some stuff went down but we worked it out. we saw FASSW on Sun at CBGB's they played awesome and it got me really excited for tour. i love hanging out with those guys every day all over the US it's amazing, those dudes are really the best. the #12 tour is all set up and we're ready to go come July. this is going to be a great tour and i can't wait to meet all these kids i've been talking to online from these places. the BU kids come home next week so that means lots of hardcore punk will be written. i still have to go buy my cap and gown (sp?) yeah i dont know where to do that yet today was a good day not only did i take my last final but Lauren bought me a fish! we named it Samari cause it's a badass, I'm happy to have a pet again (i still miss petey no bird can ever replace him). but i think this was one of the sweetest things anyone has done for me out of nowhere. Sammi came along with a ring pop, nerds, and a card that is perfect. Lauren made my day today, as per usual when i see her. #12 is recording 3 new songs i get to record tomorrow so i hope it goes well and in other news about tomorrow, tomorrow is my last day at my intership! i had a good time there but i'll enjoy sitting on my ass until July. #12 is also supposed to have a show tomorrow but i heard it might get cancelled well we have a kickass show monday with BTBAM so that's cool there's a deer and a rabbit on animal planet right now that get along it's cute to see like 2 different animals like all hanging out and stuff, just goes to show you ... um... something..there's probably a lesson to be learned there. i'm pretty funny when it comes to school sometimes. i thought i wasn't going to make it to this workshop i need for this class so i emailed the prof and was like "yeah i'm not going to make it" she was like "oh that's like 25 points off your grade" so i responded something like "ohh i meant i can go, oops" there's no way i'm taking a 25 point hit, so i just snuck into that workshop and got the dude to sign my paper. so now all my lose ends are tied up at school except for one paper i have to hand in monday. summer begins monday at like 2pm and i'm pretty excited i get to graduate sat and then next fri so that's cool and batter up is playing like the 22nd or something

it's real hot outside like 88 or something #12 goes on tour in july that's gonna be fun i never been to any of the places we're playing besides NJ i graduate in like 4 weeks so that's good i have tons and tons of work to do before then so that's not good it's greek week at school which means i get to hear all the greeks screaming as they run around it's pretty fun to watch i'll wear my X's i realized that one of the the best things about batter up shows is hanging out in hartford i'm still peeling from the show in georiga, it's pretty gross but now since it's hot at least people dont think i have a weird skin thing going on i missed skate and surf for the first time since 2001 when me and denise went i'm sure it was more crowded then ever and probably younger then ever i went to see Al play the drums the other night man that was cool it was good to see what that kid has been doing for the last 5 years

wow amazing weekend Batter Up played in Georiga and what an amazing time it was. took about 22 hours to get there in which jeremy lost his mind. we stopped in fredricksburg VA where i went to hooters to buy a shirt and then we all went to Fridays to eat, that was the most amazing dinner i've had in a while i dont think i stopped laughing the entire time i was there and we also got to see the ego canoe. we were going to call it quits and just turn back since it took about 9 horus to get there but mike and len were soo Posi that we rallied and desided to do it. Augusta GA seemed like a nice place it seemed pretty clean but there was no one on the streets. once we got there the place we played looked alittle sketchy it was outside and next to a river. we got to play later in the day so that was good and bad because by that time the sun came out and burnt us all. we had no idea how our response would be since all the bands before us were getting ok responces but not real great ones. a little before the band on the other stage was done kids started to drift over and stand right in front of our stage. then once we were ready to roll everyone was standing right in front of the stage ready to go too. we rang out and nothing really happend with the crowd but then we went into our first song and the crowd reacted. some of the kids even knew the words to the songs it was really amazing. there was a big on stage singalong for our cover song and lots of 2 steping and stage dives during our set which was just what we needed after a 22 hour drive. when we were done the kids actually wanted us to play more so we played one more song and i think that took every bit of strengh from everyone in the band. i really am glad that meghan and bryna came with us cause they made the trip about 1,000 times better. they helped us out so much both band wise and friend wise it was awesome. also mike's friends joe and linsey helped us alot too. the kids in geroriga were sooo nice to us and helped us out a great deal by buying merch and having a good time. there are so many things that went on during the trip that ruled i can't even remember half of them, we talked about about boobs and meat ballons. rt 95 is aweful cause everyone in VA goes to richmond on friday at 6pm. mike and len rule for making us not give up and keep going. everything they said to me at that stop was 100% right and i'm glad we listened. i got to sleep alot on the way home but i also had to drive from VA to my house in the rain which kinda sucked jeremy would usually wake up in time to change the cd for me though. i got home at about 8am and daylight savings time messed me up. then i slept for about 7 hours to catch up.
all in all it was an amazing trip the only thing i wish is that i didn't have sunburn right now, i got to see both days and all the bands and that it didn't take 10 extra hours to get there. but everything besides that was awesome. if i remember more i'll add more

i was watching mtv today and they had this show on about spring break and they took these 3 not so good looking dudes and like made them pimps or something i dont know but i was just thinking that you never see like 3 not so great looking girls and then mtv makes them into sluts right? i just think it's sexist another thing about the whole "see how I look now" topic is on Fox they're having this show called "the swan" coming up and it's so stupid. what they do is take these people that i guess have low self esteem and then give them plastic surgery to make them "hot" then they put them in a beauty contest. so the premise of this show is look how great plastic can make you look. it's kind of depressing to think that there are people in our society that actually think this way oh well and there's already a show like that on mtv where people are so crazy they want to look like someone famous but in the end they just have different color hair, then mtv has them go to a party where all the guys/girls hit on them cause they're sooo much better after they're nose job and dyed hair. in other news #12 played in rutherford and it was a great time FASSW played too and they were awesome I'm excited about the tour in July we're doing with them. Batter Up is playing a fest in Georiga in 2 weeks so hopeflly it'll be warm and sunny there
I'm offically half done with the semster i'm trying to stay a float as I enter the final stretch.

too much stuff is going on not to talk about it but since i have no idea who reads this anymore i can't. i got really pissed off in the middle of the week. 2 things one i can't talk about and the other was some stupid cat ate my dead bird that was buried in the backyard. i swore vengence on that cat, and it will be mine. batter up played in hartford and it was a great time, only thing was i have a super cold and became tired and weak real quick so i got mad. i have a final to do now but i dont feel like it yet so i'm taking my time, warming up my fingers by writing this. i know that some of my friends that read this want to hear juicy stuff about girls but that's not going to happen just know that i like some and i hate others. spring break is coming and i'm not going anywhere that i know of yet....but if the mood strikes me i'll just go to florida and hang out for a couple days ... why not right? i'm graduating college soon and i want to continue to play music but having a full time job might make that difficult so i have to see what i can do, i have to figure out a way to make music full time and a job part time. i am now in the middle of midterms but at least it's the last midterms i'll have to take. will i miss staying up till 5am doing research and writing papers? i might .... will i miss smart people in my classes making me feel stupid as hell as they go over out loud everything they know right before the test? no way. i hate snow now and i'm ready for warm weather maybe it's time to move to cali and play bass for yellowcard .... or maybe not
